Fishers Take Over Central PA Dirt Trackin’ Show in York from Larry Miller
Newberrytown, PA (July 23, 2013) – Ownership of the long standing and popular Central PA Dirt Trackin’ show held every January in York has changed hands once again. Todd and Rhonda Fisher, owners of the Susquehanna Speedway Park, have purchased the rights and assets of the wintertime racecar show from Larry Miller of Mechanicsburg.
Miller is taking a step back from the racing scene in a few aspects due to personal reasons. Miller approached the Fishers about taking over the management and ownership of the 2014 show and they agreed.
“I appreciated the opportunity to help bring the Dirt Trackin’ Show back to the racers and race fans in 2013. I want to thank all the vendors and racers who displayed their vehicles at the last year’s show. I could not have done it without their support.” Miller said concerning his involvement last year.
Miller continued, “Also a big thank you to all of the seminar speakers which was a great opportunity for racers and race fans also to obtain some valuable information. It was a great opportunity for me to work with a lot of great people.”
In terms of the Fishers, Milled added, “I know they will do a fine job to carry on this great show which is in its 31st year. They will have all of my support and also my help if they want it.”
“Also a big thank you to Dave Zortman for his endless hours of help making last years show a success. Thanks to all who helped me last year and best of luck to Todd and Rhonda for many successful years in the future with a great racing show.” Miller concluded.
The 33rd Annual Central PA Dirt Trackin’ Show at the York Expo Center (Memorial Hall) will begin on Friday, January 29, 2014. The set-up day will be Thursday, January 28. The York Expo Center is located at the York Fairgrounds in York, Pennsylvania.
